Dear Father God, Creator of all,I unite my prayers with those of my brethren who have been praying in my situation,& similar in their lives,as they go thru the same thing, & stand united in prayers.I ask that You watch over my daughter.& myself.Place Your hands of protection over my child & allow adults around her to make good sound decisions on her behalf. Soften the heart of her father, fill him with wisdom & grace.Move him to do what is best for our child,Let him seek what is good for his daughter before his wishes & desires.May he not manipulate her, but may he speak in truth & kindness.Strengthen & provide me with all necessary to care for my child as You have already.Heal our family’s hurts dear Abba Father.. May Your hand set right all circumstances re: my family.Let me rest in knowing that You are tending to my family & will strengthen me & help find a way.Continue to increase my faith, fill me with all that is good, grant me wisdom how to proceed. We ask that Your will guide over this situation.Bring peace, kindness & grace to my child,my ex & myself. I bind any powers of darkness that are affecting any involved & plead the blood of Jesus & a hedge of protection over us all.In the Holy & precious Name of Jesus I ask & pray, Amen

YOU ARE HOLY
By Richy Clark
Sung by Lee University Campus Choir

I saw the Lord seated on the throne
and He was clothed in glory and exalted high
and the train of His robe fills the temple
and angels gather round Him and cry

You are Holy
oh so Holy
You are Holy Lord of all

And woe is me
for I am unclean
for my eyes have seen the Holy King
and He cleansed my lips
right before my eyes
and the pillars shook
as the angels cried

You are Holy
Oh so Holy
You are Holy Lord of all

Sandy Beach Or solid Rock?

Father God, I ask that the words I say and the meditation of my heart please you. I ask that all who can hear my voice listen to what you are saying through me, your humble servant, your vessel. Bless the name of the Lord God. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I'm going to begin by reading the verses is Luke 6:46-49 which say 46 “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say? 47 Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: 48 He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.[h] 49 But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell.[i] And the ruin of that house was great.”

There are two ways to look at these verses. We can look at them in the physical and also in the spiritual. We are going to look at them both ways today.

When we were children or for some of us when we go to the beach, we sometimes build sandcastles. These sandcastles are very fragile. If you build the castle close to the ocean, a wave can destroy it. If someone isn't watching where they are going or they are a bully, they can walk right over it and destroy it also.

What if we built our houses out of sand? The rains would come and the winds would blow. The house wouldn't last long. The rain alone would probably destroy the sand house.

What if we built houses without any foundations? Would it last when a tornado hit? Not likely. Or a hurricane? It would blow away.

What about a house that has a foundation and is built on solid rock? The builder digs down deep into the earth and places rocks in the foundation. The winds blow, the rain comes, and it still stands firm. It's because it has a strong foundation.

What about relationships? What if they aren't built on solid foundations? What if there are issues that arise and the husband or wife leaves when disaster strikes? It happens. People who leave or run from things when life gets hard are missing a solid, strong foundation.

I know what they need. They need a solid foundation. When you have a sandy beach kind of spiritual foundation, you will fall and be destroyed whenever bad things hit.

A sandy beach or a no foundation spiritual life is a bad place to be. You'll go for anything and fall into a trap.

But I have good news. Listen to the words to this hymn:

On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand

Jesus Christ is the foundation of the Christian faith. He is our solid rock. Though storms and trials come, we will not be moved because we stand on the solid rock of Jesus.

Jesus told Peter he would build his church upon him. Jesus wants us to build our faith upon him, the solid rock that doesn't move.

Put you trust in Jesus for his foundation never wavers. He is our solid rock. He is our strength.

I'd like to invite all the ministry team members to come to the front. As they come, I want you all to listen to my words. When we are in the storm, when our life feels like it is coming apart at the seams and we don't know where to go, Jesus is calling us then.

Maybe you can't trust anyone because of your past. I've been there. It takes time to trust, but I know that if you take that step of faith and say "Okay, God. I'm going to step up to this altar or I'm going to put this thing I'm holding onto in your hands." I know without any doubt that God will take your hand. He will lead you to where you need to be.

Place your trust in him. His solid rock foundation will hold you up. He will never let you fall.

Come, my friends. Come to the solid rock and take up his strength and stand on his foundation. Let him hold you up and bring you to where he wants you to be.

Jesus, Lord of all, we thank you for this day and for this word that was shared. I ask Lord that you would bring us into understanding of your word. That we would trust you and be able to stand firm on the solid rock that is you. Guide us oh Lord and walk with us. We thank you Lord for your sacrifice and grace. We thank you for being who you are and for showing up today. Thank you Lord! In your precious, mighty name I pray, Amen.

Now, I want you to talk to Jesus. I want you to spend some time with him. I want you to praise his name. Thank you Jesus! Bless the name of the Lord! You are King of kings and Lord of lords. Come on brothers and sisters! Use your voice. Raise it high! Lift up the name of Jesus!
