EVEN THE MOUNTAINS
by Benjamin R. Faust

We praise you Lord because you're worthy
You are Lord and King of the earth and sky
Let us lift you up and declare your glory
Let us lift our hands and our voices high

Even the mountains praise your name
the rocks and the stones cry Holy!
Whoever seeks for your face
will never be the same
Let your kingdom come
in Jesus' name

I'm an instrument, I am only a vessel
Help me open up to receive your love
Let us put to death thoughts of opposition
Let me step aside and point the world to above

LORD YOU'VE BEEN SO GOOD
by Benjamin R. Faust

VERSE ONE
Lord, You've been so good to me
You gave me sight when I was blind
You showed me light I could not see
You brought me truth I could not find

Lord, You've been so good to me
You paid a debt I could not pay
You turned my darkest night to day
Lord You've been so good to me!

CHORUS
And so I praise You in the morning
and I praise You in the night
For You are my Salvation
You are my Guiding Light
So I give You my everything
I just can't give You less
When You sent Your Son to love me
You gave me Your best!

VERSE TWO
Lord, You've been so good to me
You set my feet on solid ground
You rescued my life from the grave
when no other help could be found
Lord, You've been so good to me
and I could never repay
All the love You gave so freely
Lord, You've been so good to me!

(CHORUS)

BRIDGE
Lord You've been so good to me
Lord You've been so good to me (better than I deserve)
Lord You've been so good to me
You paid a debt I could not pay
You turned my darkest night to day
Lord You've been so good to me

Lord You've been so good to me
Lord You've been so good to me (you're good all the time)
Lord You've been so good to me
and I could never repay
All the love You gave so freely
Lord You've been so good to me

(CHORUS)

You gave me Your best!
You gave me Your best!

Lord, You've been so good to me.

FAIREST LORD JESUS
lyrics by Munster Gesangbuch
music by Schlesische Volkslieder

Fairest Lord Jesus, ruler of all nature,
O thou of God and man the Son,
Thee will I cherish, Thee will I honor,
thou, my soul's glory, joy, and crown.

Fair are the meadows, fairer still the woodlands,
robed in the blooming garb of spring:
Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer
who makes the woeful heart to sing.

Fair is the sunshine, fairer still the moonlight,
and all the twinkling starry host:
Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer
than all the angels heaven can boast.

Beautiful Savior! Lord of all the nations!
Son of God and Son of Man!
Glory and honor, praise, adoration,
now and forevermore be thine.

I titled this fire side chat “Emmanuel: God With Us.” I know it sounds more like a Christmas chat, but there are reasons I am sharing it now.

My husband, Ben...Benjamin Psaltery in SL...and I are going through a situation that I won't really go into too much detail here. The main thing is that we need to move ASAP from where we are. That may mean going out of state again. See, we did this exact moving out of state thing two years ago. It is difficult and at times sad, but there is something that has kept us strong.

Or I should say Someone! You see, in all that is going on...there is this Presence if you will that has always shone up. He isn't far away. He isn't hiding Himself. He stays close and visible at all times.

He is Emmanuel: God With Us! This Presence of God that makes us feel like we are not alone. He is here...ever with us. Ever seeing what is happening. Ever waiting and willing to be our ever help in trouble.

One of the hardest things I have come to know and learn is that we live scripture! Our very lives put the words of scripture into visual form. We see them lived out. Maybe we don't see people walking on water everyday, but we see people trusting God. We see them praying and God answering their prayers.

One of the scriptures I see lived out a lot is Proverbs chapter 3 verse 5 and 6, which says:

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

I see this so many times...people trusting God with everything they have and acknowledging Him and God directing their path. I see that in our situation...this having to move ASAP. We are trusting God with all we have...we are saying okay God we don't see the outcome, but we are trusting You and acknowledging that You know the way and realizing He will direct our path because we do those things.

In order for us to trust God, we have to acknowledge that He is there and that He is present. We trust Him and He is here with us and He directs us to where He wants us to go.

It is an amazing, but also at times scary thing. There are two things that are at war inside me right now. My flesh and my spirit. My flesh is saying how scary all this is. How scary the situation is and how scary not knowing where we are going is. And then, there is my spirit. My spirit is trusting God and knows He is here and knows that He has everything in the palm of His hand.

And I believe...now this is just how I see it...I believe that God is okay with me being a bit scared. He sees and knows it and says It's okay to be scared. When you are, I am here! I will show you there is nothing to be afraid of and I will give you what you need to be unafraid. You can have courage and still be afraid to step out. You can be filled with peace and trust me. There is no need to be so afraid.

God uses His still small voice to speak to us in ways we understand. He isn't going to speak to us in a foreign language that we don't know. He isn't the author of confusion. That's somebody's else's title.

God is our Rock. He's our fortress. Our refuge. He takes care of us. He is here. Emmanuel: God With Us. Do you see? Are you understanding what I am trying to convey?

God has always been with you. He is there right now. With you. With me. He sees our suffering. He sees our pain. He sees our tears. He sees our joy. He sees our love. He sees everything.

No matter what your situation is trust in Him. Allow Him to do what only He can do. Allow Him to direct your path. He will never steer you wrong. And when you have reached the end of your race, I know you will realize that God was always Who He said He was. Maybe then we can share stories of how awesome God was to us in our earthly life. I hope though we will share of how awesome to see Him face to face is more.

The race is not over. God is with us. Emmanuel. Emmanuel. Emmanuel.

Today's altar call is simple. Come and talk with Emmanuel. Maybe He needs you to listen to Him as He speaks to you. So listen.

If you haven't joined the family of God, instant message one of the staff team and they will help you do that. Also, instant message a staff member if you need prayer or ministry of any kind.

You can also go to almcyberchurch.org and click the pastors' offices to leave a message if you would like to talk to the pastors at a later time.

After this time at the altar, we will have a time of fellowship in the room up the stairs to your left. Everyone is invited to join us there.

Whenever you need to do so, you are free to go.

May God Bless you this week. May Emanuel: God With Us reveal Himself to you this week.

Go in peace.
