EVEN THE MOUNTAINS
by Benjamin R. Faust

We praise you Lord because you're worthy
You are Lord and King of the earth and sky
Let us lift you up and declare your glory
Let us lift our hands and our voices high

Even the mountains praise your name
the rocks and the stones cry Holy!
Whoever seeks for your face
will never be the same
Let your kingdom come
in Jesus' name

I'm an instrument, I am only a vessel
Help me open up to receive your love
Let us put to death thoughts of opposition
Let me step aside and point the world to above

FAIREST LORD JESUS
lyrics by Munster Gesangbuch
music by Schlesische Volkslieder

Fairest Lord Jesus, ruler of all nature,
O thou of God and man the Son,
Thee will I cherish, Thee will I honor,
thou, my soul's glory, joy, and crown.

Fair are the meadows, fairer still the woodlands,
robed in the blooming garb of spring:
Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer
who makes the woeful heart to sing.

Fair is the sunshine, fairer still the moonlight,
and all the twinkling starry host:
Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer
than all the angels heaven can boast.

Beautiful Savior! Lord of all the nations!
Son of God and Son of Man!
Glory and honor, praise, adoration,
now and forevermore be thine.

ALL OF ME
by Benjamin R. Faust

I give you all of me
I give you all of me O Lord
I give you all of me
Come fill this place
(x2)

Fill me with your Spirit Lord
So I may do your will and walk in your way
Keep me in your presence
Every moment, I pray
So I will always love you
So I will always love you

Father God, thank You for always being with us. Thank You for providing for all our needs. You are worthy to be praised. You alone are worthy to receive all the glory and honor. Holy is Your name. There is none like You, oh Lord. As we continue this service Lord, I ask that You help us to focus on You and that I would be used as Your vessel to do only Your will. I pray all this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Please be seated.

I am here before you again. Today's fire side chat is called “Jehovah Jireh: My Provider.” God is our provider. He provides all of our needs. He gives us income in order for us to live. We have shelter, food, water, clothing, etc. The basic needs of all people are met through His hand.

I know there are some who are poor and in need. But I do not blame God for their need. No. Blame those of us who have MORE THAN ENOUGH who do not share in their abundance. I am not here to speak on those things though.

What I am here to speak about is the fact that God provides for us and we are to use what He gives us efficiently. I know for me that at times I don't always use what God gives me in the best way. I am trying to do better with that and I hope all of you are trying to do that as well.

The main scripture I thought of as I was pondering this fire side chat was the Parable of the Talents. I see it as the lord of the servants is God...Jehovah Jireh, who gives us our talents. He provides us with what we need. And we are like the servants who do different things with what we are given.

The Parable is found in the book of Matthew chapter 25 verses 14-30. It reads as follows:

14“For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey.16 Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. 17 And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. 18 But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. 19 After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.

20 “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ 21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’22 He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ 23 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

24 “Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’

26 “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. 27 So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. 28 Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.

29 ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

I don't want to go to much into this parable, because for one thing there is a lot here. We could talk about many things in this parable. And secondly, a lot of what is here isn't really my main point.

What I want to point out is that the lord of these servants gave them each a portion, a talent. Two doubled what they were given. The other did not.

God gives us provision. He gives us what we need. Do we double what He gives us? Or do we bury it in the ground? Are we wise in the provision God gives us?

Those of you who were here last week know that Ben and I are in a situation that may call for us to move out of state again. We are not really sure where we are going at this time. But we are trusting God, our Provider. He sees our need. He knows what is going on and He will provide for us.

God sees your need. He sees where there is lack. Maybe you can barely pay your bills. Maybe your landlord just increased your rent and you aren't sure how you will pay it each month. Maybe you have doctor bills and no insurance. Maybe your stress level is so great and you feel like you might explode.

Some might be wondering about the last sentence. I don't believe that God is only the Provider of physical or monetary needs. I think He is also the Provider of inner needs. For example, peace and mental well-being. Things that aren't so easily seen that God provides the solution to those things.

God: My Provider. You come to Him with your cares that need met. I believe He meets those needs! Maybe not the way we'd like Him to all the time. He isn't a Sugar Daddy, ya know. :) He meets our needs the way He knows is best for us.

Do you know what the main thing that God has provided for us? This is even before our basic needs. Why is it before those? There is always a way to get food, water, shelter, and clothing. This one can only...ONLY...be provided by God. Do you know what it is?

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) God provided the Greatest Gift. The Atonement for our sins. His Son, Jesus Christ.

Jehovah Jireh. Jehovah Jireh. Jehovah Jireh.
His grace is sufficient for me.

The altar call time. Time to talk to God and thank Him for all the things He has provided for you, especially thank Him for His Son Jesus.

If you need prayer or ministry of all kind, please message a member of the staff and we will help you as best we can. You may also contact us at almcyberchurch.org. Go to the pastors' offices there and leave us a message. We will reply to your message as soon as possible.
