A REASON TO REJOICE
by Benjamin R. Faust

I have a reason to rejoice
I have a reason to clap my hands
I have a reason to lift my voice
and sing praises to the great I Am

I have a reason to move my feet
and take the Gospel into the street
I have a reason to lose my will
and let Jesus take full control

For you have set my feet to dancin'
You have filled my heart with joy
You have freed me from my passions
and filled me with the Holy Ghost

You have set my heart on fire
Fill my soul with your desire
and Melt me Lord 'til
only you remain!

EVEN THE MOUNTAINS
by Benjamin R. Faust

We praise you Lord because you're worthy
You are Lord and King of the earth and sky
Let us lift you up and declare your glory
Let us lift our hands and our voices high

Even the mountains praise your name
the rocks and the stones cry Holy!
Whoever seeks for your face
will never be the same
Let your kingdom come
in Jesus' name

I'm an instrument, I am only a vessel
Help me open up to receive your love
Let us put to death thoughts of opposition
Let me step aside and point the world to above

WITH ALL THAT I AM
by Benjamin R. Faust

I praise you Lord
I praise you Lord
With all of my heart
With all of my soul
With all of my strength
I praise you Lord

For there is nobody like you
in heaven or on earth
Who is worthy to receive
all my praise
And I praise you with all that I am
Yes I praise you with all that I am

I'll serve you Lord
I'll serve you Lord
With all of my heart
With all of my soul
With all of my strength
I'll serve you Lord

For there is nobody like you
in heaven or on earth
Who is worthy to receive
all my praise
And I'll serve you with all that I am
Yes I'll serve you with all that I am

I love you Lord and
I'll love you Lord
With all of my heart
With all of my soul
With all of my strength
I love you Lord

For there is nobody like you
in heaven or on earth
Who is worthy to receive
all my praise
And I love you with all that I am
Yes I love you with all that I am

Father God, thank You for this day and for all the things You have done for us. You sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins and You give us grace and mercy. I ask that whatever is done in this place would glorify You and You alone. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Please be seated.

Today's fireside chat is called Jesus is Lord.

I want us to do a bit of study about Jesus being our Lord. What does that mean to you?

In an article I read on gotquestions.org it said that in Jesus' day the word lord was used as a sign of respect. It wasn't necessarily used for Jesus is God, but that they gave Him the title lord as a sign of respect and as a teacher.

Only after Jesus resurrected did He truly be called Lord. For example, the time when Thomas doubted that Jesus rose from the dead, but when he saw Jesus he said “My Lord and My God.” This is when Thomas realized who Jesus truly was. He wasn't just a teacher or someone they should show respect to, but He was God.

Jesus is Lord. In Philippians chapter 2 verses 5-11 which reads,
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Jesus is indeed Lord...to the glory of God the Father.

He is Lord. He is Lord. He has risen from the dead and He is Lord. Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess. That Jesus Christ is Lord.

Let us all acknowledge Him. The Lord of all. Jesus Christ is Lord. Is He your Lord?

The altar call is this. Come and kneel and talk to Jesus the Lord. Give Him your respect. Give Him your love. Give Him your life. Confess to Him. Confess to the world. Jesus Christ is Lord of all.
Hallelujah to Him.

So come my friends. Come and rejoice for Jesus is Lord!

May God bless you all this week. May you confess that Jesus is Lord of all to the glory of the Father.

Go in peace my friends. Go in peace.
