REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS
by Anonymous
addition lyrics by Benjamin Faust

Rejoice in the Lord always
and again I say rejoice!
Rejoice in the Lord always
and again I say rejoice!

Rejoice, rejoice
and again I say rejoice!
Rejoice, rejoice
and again I say rejoice!

This is the day that the Lord has made
I will rejoice and be glad today
In His Presence is the fullness of His Joy complete
so I come and I lay my troubles and cares at the Master's feet

Not height, not depth, not the shadow of death
can ever separate me from how He Loves me with
His Joy that's overflowing as it's bubbling up
Rejoicing is the wine of God that's filling my cup

MY HOPE IS BUILT ON NOTHING LESS
by Edward Mote

My hope is built on nothing less
than Jesus' blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
but wholly lean on Jesus' name

On Christ the solid Rock I stand
all other ground is sinking sand
all other ground is sinking sand

When darkness veils His lovely face
I rest on His unchanging grace
In every high and stormy gale
My anchor holds within the veil

On Christ the solid Rock I stand
all other ground is sinking sand
all other ground is sinking sand

When He shall come with trumpet sound
Oh, may I then in Him be found
Clothed in His righteousness alone
Faultless to stand before the throne!

On Christ the solid Rock I stand
all other ground is sinking sand
all other ground is sinking sand

BREATHE ON ME BREATH OF GOD
by Edwin Hatch
edited by Benjamin Faust

Verse 1:
Breathe on me, Breath of God,
Fill me with Life anew,
That I may love the things You love,
And do all that You would do.
And do all that You would do.

Chorus:
Breathe on me, Breath of God
Breathe on me
Breathe on me, Breath of God
Breath of God, breathe on me
Breath of God, breathe on me

Verse 2:
Breathe on me, Breath of God,
Until my heart is pure, (and)
Until my will is one with Yours,
As I walk in Love with You.
As I walk in Love with You.

(Chorus)

Verse 3:
Breathe on me, Breath of God,
Till I am wholly Thine,
And as this earthly mind grows still, (and)
I glow with Your fire divine.
I glow with Your fire divine.

(Chorus)

Verse 4:
Breathe on me, Breath of God,
As I rest Here with You,
And dwell with You in Perfect Life
That touches Eternity.
That touches Eternity.

Father God, thank You for Your presence in this place. Be with us as we continue with the service. I ask that Your will be done here and that my words would resonate with someone. I am Your vessel. I am here to do Your will and give bring You glory. May my words be Your words. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Please be seated.

Today I'm doing a fireside chat. I have you ever been in a situation when you were breathing differently? Have you ever had trouble breathing? I mean physically. I have had two moments that I know of where I had issues with breathing physically.

When I was younger, I believe I was 8, I almost drowned. I can still remember the panic I felt as I was sinking deeper into the water of the pool. And then, finally...I felt the pull. Someone was pulling me out. There had been water everywhere, but now I was gasping for breath and dripping water on the walkway beside the public swimming pool. Needless to say, it was the last time I tried to swim in the deep end.

The next time was when I had a horrible migraine and in so much pain. I was screaming as my mom drove me and Ben to the hospital. I was hyperventilating. It was scary. I can barely breath and I was not sure what would happen or why my head hurt so much. All the doctor at the hospital said was it was a complex headache. At least by the time I went home from the ER, I was calm.

These times when I felt like my breathing was in trouble. I couldn't breathe underwater. I couldn't breathe as I hyperventilated. I was too upset and scared to do anything. My physical breathing was in chaos.

Have you ever had the chance to calm someone down when they were having problem breathing? I did. It happened just this week. I work at a call center and I helped a member with their breathing over the phone. I was glad to help. The member even praised me for being able to calm them down.

When we can't breathe physically, do we try to call out to God for his help? Do we allow others to calm us down so that we can breathe normally again?

What about spiritual breathing? Do we allow Holy Spirit to breathe on us? Do we breathe on others? What does that even mean?

Do we spread the life giving breath of God to others? Do we breathe in the breath of God...His Life...? Does it calm us? When we breathe on others the breath of God do we calm them?

I wonder what it would be like if we breathed on others...the Living breath of God. What would that do? Could it bring dead back to life? The dead in us to life anew. Will the old be gone and the new come to life?

Because when we speak words...we either breathe life into people or we kill them. Words are like a spiritual, mental, maybe even physical entity. Words can build up or tear down. Be careful how you use them.

Calm. Can you calm someone with your words? Can you still the storm raging inside of them? Can you still the waves that are crashing all around them? Your words can change things.
Do they have the breath of God in them or the sting of Death?

I want you all to think about how you use words and whether or not they have the breath of God in them or the sting of Death. I want you to seriously think about it. I want you to ask God about it. Right here. Right now.

This is the altar call. Ask God to help you to speak words that have the breath of God in them. Ask Him to help you to guard your words so that you can calm the storm in someone else's life and in your own life as well.

As you pray, if you would like someone to pray with you or you need ministry, instant message one of us on the staff and we will help you the best we can.

If you would like to leave a message for the pastors, please go to almcyberchurch.org and click on the pastors' offices there. We will get back to you ASAP.

After this time at the altar, we will have a time of fellowship in the room up the stairs to your left. All are invite to join us there.

If you need to leave, you may go at any time.

May God Bless you this week. May He breathe on you His breath of Life and calm any raging storm that comes your way.

Go in His peace.
