Ah Lord God, Thou hast made the heavens
And the earth by Thy great power
Ah Lord God, Thou hast made the heavens
And the earth by Thine outstretched arm

Nothing is too difficult for Thee
Nothing is too difficult for Thee
O great and mighty God
Great in counsel and mighty in deed
Nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing
Nothing is too difficult for Thee

Purify my heart
Let me be as gold and precious silver
Purify my heart
Let me be as gold, pure gold
Purify my heart
Cleanse me from within and make me holy
Purify my heart
Cleanse me from my sin, deep within

Refiner's Fire
My heart's one desire is to be holy
Set apart for You Lord
I choose to be holy
Set apart for You my master
Ready to do Your will

For Thou, O Lord, art high above all the earth
Thou art exalted far above all gods
For Thou, O Lord, art high above all the earth
Thou art exalted far above all gods

I exalt Thee, I exalt Thee
I exalt Thee, O Lord
I exalt Thee, I exalt Thee
I exalt Thee, O Lord

Father God, I stand before You a woman who wishes only to bless You and to give You glory. I am unworthy to look upon Your face, to even speak Your name, but it is YOUR worthiness that allows me to do these things and more. You alone are worthy. You alone are righteous. You alone are holy. I worship You because of who You are. I worship You because of what You've done. I worship You because of who You are! We worship You because of who You are. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Jesus. Bless Your holy name. I pray this in the name that is above every other name...that at the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth...Yeshua...that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He and He alone is the Christ, the Son of the Living God...at His name I pray this...in His name....Amen and Amen.

There's some scripture I'd like to read first. In the chapter before this, the report had come back about the giants in the land of Canaan.

Numbers 14:1-10 (NKJV)

1 So all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night.
2 And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, "If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness!
3 Why has the Lord brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?"
4 So they said to one another, "Let us select a leader and return to Egypt."
5 Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.
6 But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes;
7 and they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying: "The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land.
8 If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, 'a land which flows with milk and honey.'
9 Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them."
10 And all the congregation said to stone them with stones. Now the glory of the Lord appeared in the tabernacle of meeting before all the children of Israel.

What I want to point out here is that the Israelites got spiritual amnesia. What's that Mari? Spiritual Amnesia is when we forget who God is and what He has given us. We forget His grace and mercy. We forget His love for us. We forget what He has done for us.

That's what the Israelites did. They forgot that God brought them out of slavery in Egypt. They forgot about the Red Sea. They forgot about His guidance in the wilderness in the form of a cloud and a pillar of fire. They forgot about the food from heaven and the water from the rock, His provision. They forgot their victory in battle. They forgot. They forgot it all.

Has there ever been a time where you forgot about what God has done for you? What He has given you? That He loves you? That He has not forgotten You? That His grace and mercy still reign and rain down upon us? Have you ever forgotten Him?

Have you ever stepped away from what and who He is to be overwhelmed by what is around you? By what the enemy tells you? By what the world shows?

When we forget God and all His attributes and the things that make him who He is, what are we saying? Our minds have been led astray and we need to be brought back. We need the Great Physician to heal our amnesia. We need the Good Shepherd to come to our rescue and carry us back to where His grace and mercy abound. We need the Great I Am to tell us that He is here and that He has never left.

And we need to release the forgetting and hold onto the remembering. Remember who God is. Remember what He has done. Remember His love, His grace, and His mercy. Remember His Word. Remember His sacrifice for us. Remember His salvation. Remember His voice calling our names. Remember His arms wrapped around us. Remember. Remember Him.

There are things we should forget, but He who is Love is not one of them. No, He is the one we should remember most about.
I think we should make an effort to remember God and all He is. Maybe find a special container to place things or pieces of paper in it. The things are those that remind you of God and all He is. The pieces of paper are to write down those things that are not objects that remind you of God and all He is and has done for you. And when you need some reminding, you go to your container and remove the items.

You know, when the Israelites forgot, they were scared because of the giants. The fear drove them to forget, to get amnesia. They wanted to find a new leader to take them back to Egypt. They wanted to stone Joshua and Caleb. Their fear drove them to hysterics. And satan loved that. The Chosen
Ones of God were scared and running away. Fear had gripped them and would not let go. They had to live in the wilderness for 40 years, until the forgetful generation had died off, before they could continue on. Joshua and Caleb were the only ones from their generation that saw the promised land.

Do you want to miss out on what God has for you because you have forgotten? Because you allowed your fear to overwhelm you and cause spiritual amnesia? There is a way to remember. The one who can help you is not that far away. He has been waiting for you to return to Him. He wants you to come back. He wants you to realize what He has done for you. Not because He is arrogant. God is not arrogant. That's satan's area of expertise. No, God wants you to remember so your relationship with Him can be all that it should and can be.
So come as you are and remember all that God has done for you and all He is to you. He wants to heal you and to carry you. He wants you to remember how much He loves you. He has never forgotten or forsaken you. He is waiting with open arms. Come and remember.
