I have found His grace is all complete,
He supplieth every need;
While I sit and learn at Jesus' feet,
I am free, yes, free indeed.

I have found the pleasure I once craved,
It is joy and peace within;
What a wondrous blessing, I am saved
From the awful gulf of sin.

I have found that hope so bright and clear,
Living in the realm of grace;
Oh, the Savior's presence is so near,
I can see His smiling face.

I have found the joy no tongue can tell,
How its waves of glory roll;
It is like a great o'erflowing well,
Springing up within my soul.

It is joy unspeakable and full of glory,
Full of glory, full of glory;
It is joy unspeakable and full of glory,
Oh, the half has never yet been told.

Lord, You've been so good to me
You gave me sight when I was blind
You showed me light I could not see
You brought me truth I could not find

Lord, You've been so good to me
You paid a debt I could not pay
You turned my darkest night to day
Lord You've been so good to me!

And so I praise You in the morning
and I praise You in the night
For You are my Salvation
You are my Guiding Light
So I give You my everything
I just can't give You less
When You sent Your Son to love me
You gave me Your best!

Lord, You've been so good to me
You set my feet on solid ground
You rescued my life from the grave
when no other help could be found
Lord, You've been so good to me
and I could never repay
All the love You gave so freely
Lord, You've been so good to me!

Lord You've been so good to me
Lord You've been so good to me (better than I deserve)
Lord You've been so good to me
You paid a debt I could not pay
You turned my darkest night to day
Lord You've been so good to me

Lord You've been so good to me
Lord You've been so good to me (you're good all the time)
Lord You've been so good to me
and I could never repay
All the love You gave so freely
Lord You've been so good to me

You gave me Your best!
You gave me Your best!

Lord, You've been so good to me.

You are holy
great and worthy
All creation is
full of Your glory
Angels prostrate
fall - and with one voice proclaim
Glory and Majesty to
Whom for all eternity reigns! (He reigns!)
(Him for all eternity)

To Him who sits on the throne
Glory and honor and praise
forever and ever
And to the Lamb who was slain
And set us free from the grave
and those who know Him are free

Father God, thank You for wrapping us in Your arms as we worship you with our voices, hearts, and hands lifted high. As we continue this service, I ask that You would shower us with Your grace and mercy and be a Presence here. Guide my words and lead me on Your path as I share today. I pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Today's fireside chat is called Jehovah Rapha: The Lord Who Heals. And yes He does heal. I think sometimes we don't think He does because He doesn't in our time. God takes our loved one away instead of healing them to walk this earth with us. He doesn't remove the pain we are in and we don't understand why.

We read the Bible and see all the healing and we are. In pain. In need of healing. Not just physical healing, but inner healing. Inner healing is the healing that others can't see. Usually only you and God know about it.

You know, I have experienced a lot of both kinds of suffering...both kinds of pain. I am not saying this for pity, but just so that you all can realize how real this fireside chat is to me. This is also about me, not just you.

In the Bible, there are many stories of healing. Let's look at a few. There are three we will look at, but there are tons more. Read The Gospels. They are packed full of Jesus healing people.

The first one is found in the book of John chapter 9 starting at verse 1. It reads:

Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. 2 And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

3 Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. 4 I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. 5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

6 When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. 7 And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.

8 Therefore the neighbors and those who previously had seen that he was blind said, “Is not this he who sat and begged?”

9 Some said, “This is he.” Others said, “He is like him.”
He said, “I am he.”

10 Therefore they said to him, “How were your eyes opened?”

11 He answered and said, “A Man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went and washed, and I received sight.”

12 Then they said to him, “Where is He?”
He said, “I do not know.”

The next one is in the book of Matthew chapter 9. It reads:

1 So He got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own city. 2 Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”

3 And at once some of the scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes!”

4 But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts? 5 For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’? 6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”
7 And he arose and departed to his house.

8 Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to men.

The last example is in the book of Luke chapter 17. It reads:

11 Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. 13 And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”

14 So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.

15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.

17 So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? 18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” 19 And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.”

These were miracles that Jesus did to heal these people. One was blind, but now could see. One was lame, but now could walk. Ten were lepers, but now they were cleansed.

I share these stories for all of us to remember that Jesus is The Lord Who Heals. He can heal us. He is Jehovah Rapha. I can't tell you when He will heal, but I know He can. Believe. And He Who His time will.

I am sorry I can't tell you when. I don't know that. I am not omnipotent. Do not give God's characteristics to me. I am not He.

Jehovah Rapha is His name. So Believe. And who knows...your healing may come soon. Until that time “be about the Father's business.”

The altar call is this. Come and pray. Come and worship. Come and rejoice. Come and believe. Jehovah Rapha is here. He sees your pain and suffering...outside and inside.
