He is worthy, and we proclaim
The name of Jesus
is far above every other name
He is holy and we declare
His glory fills the earth
and there's rejoicing everywhere

He is mighty, and sovereign over all
He's coming for who's ready
when they hear the trumpet call
He is Jesus, the ruler over all
And every soul in worship
to the King will fall

Holy, holy is the King who reigns
The Son of God,
heaven and earth proclaims
In joy we bring to you our offering

(In spirit and - in truth we sing)
(And so to you - our lives we bring)
(As a li - ving offering)

Verse 1:
Breathe on me, Breath of God,
Fill me with Life anew,
That I may love the things You love,
And do all that You would do.
And do all that You would do.

Breathe on me, Breath of God
Breathe on me
Breathe on me, Breath of God
Breath of God, breathe on me
Breath of God, breathe on me

Verse 2:
Breathe on me, Breath of God,
Until my heart is pure, (and)
Until my will is one with Yours,
As I walk in Love with You.
As I walk in Love with You.

Verse 3:
Breathe on me, Breath of God,
Till I am wholly Thine,
And as this earthly mind grows still, (and)
I glow with Your fire divine.
I glow with Your fire divine.

Verse 4:
Breathe on me, Breath of God,
As I rest Here with You,
And dwell with You in Perfect Life
That touches Eternity.
That touches Eternity.

All to Jesus I surrender,
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.

I surrender all,
I surrender all;
All to Thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.

All to Jesus I surrender,
Humbly at His feet I bow;
Worldly pleasures all forsaken,
Take me, Jesus, take me now.

All to Jesus I surrender,
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel the Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine.

All to Jesus I surrender,
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power,
Let Thy blessing fall on me.

All to Jesus I surrender,
Now I feel the sacred flame;
Oh, the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory, to His Name!

Healer of our every ill. Light of each tomorrow. Give us peace beyond our fears and hope beyond our sorrow.

Father God, thank You for being the healer of our every ill. The light in each tomorrow. In the darkness, Your light shines before us to guide our way. You give us peace that passes all understanding. You give us hope beyond our sorrow. I ask that my words would inspire and would bring about Your will here in this place. May Your love shower us always. I pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.
Please be seated.

Today I'm going to kind of talk about something I have already spoke on before in the fireside chat called Broken Vessel. This time, it will be a bit different. This time, I am not going to focus on the vessel so much as that we are in pieces and in need of care.

When I think of this idea, I think of a child carrying his or her toy to their parent and saying “fix it.” The parent smiles halfheartedly because they aren't sure if they can fix it.

Say, for example, the child is a boy and he brings his father his car. The axle broke and he wants his father to fix it. The boy has this idea that his father CAN fix anything and so believes his father can fix his car. When in reality, the father isn't so sure he can fix the car. But he tries anyways.

The difference with the this story and when we go to God is that God can fix it. He can heal us. He can make us new.

Some of you might be saying, but it doesn't always go that way. No, of course not. We live in a world where miracles can and do happen. I think we forget, however, that oh how should I put it.

Okay. Let's try this way. I will tell you right now that I don't have this issue totally figured out. I don't understand why God allows certain things to happen, but I still will love Him and praise Him. I know He knows what He is doing. And it is okay if I ask Him why. It is okay if I come to Him not understanding.

I have come to God many times with my heart in pieces and tears are streaming down my face. I say “fix it.” And God fixes it His way. Do I like it? No. But He knows that. He still loves me. He just tells me no.

And I wonder how many more times will this “fix it” scenario happen. Father God always holds me close and whispers in my ear. “I love you. I know it hurts. I know it's hard. I'm here. Come to me. I will hold you.”

Are you getting what I am saying? I do not mean to say that God puts a little band-aide on my heart and says “Off with you, now” as if He brushes away my sorrow. That is not what I mean at all. He truly cares and truly fixes the issue until I pull out the stitches and make my heart bleed again.
See, Father God wants to heal me, but I make it difficult if I hold onto the things that bring pain to my heart. In reality, it isn't God's fault I need to be fixed, but mine.

I am so very glad that God allows me to come to Him time and time again so He can fix me up as good as new...until the next I get myself in another situation where I have to come to Him.

He picks me up and places me on His knee. He stitches up my heart, kisses the wounds, and hugs me close. I love you, My Child. Don't do that again. It pains me when I see you like this. He then puts me back on my feet. He watches me walk away.

Until the next time...I must have so many scars. He must get tired of me I think to myself. I can see in His eyes that He knows what I'm thinking. His smile tells it all.

Oh Child, He says loudly. I could never tire of you. You are one of my masterpieces. When you come to Me to heal you, I do My best to show you that I care and love you. I am the Master Fixer Upper after all. I will always fix you up, My Child, no matter how many times it will take. Come and be made whole.
There will come a time when we will be made whole. We will have new bodies and it will be a glorious time. Until then, The Master Fixer Upper is here for us. He will fix us as many times as we need Him to do so. He is ready for you, my friends. Come to Him. Yes, come to Him.

The altar call is for all of us. Come to Him, my friends. Allow Him to do what only He can do.

If you need prayer or ministry, instant message one of us on the staff and we will be happy to help you. If you are outside Second Life, go to and click on the pastors' offices and leave us a message there. We will reply to you as soon as we can.

If you need to leave, you are free to do so. I hope, however, you will stay and join us for fellowship up the stairs to your left. All are welcome to come join us there.

May God Bless you all this week. May He be the Master Fixer Upper in your life.
