EVEN THE MOUNTAINS
by Benjamin R. Faust

We praise you Lord because you're worthy
You are Lord and King of the earth and sky
Let us lift you up and declare your glory
Let us lift our hands and our voices high

Even the mountains praise your name
the rocks and the stones cry Holy!
Whoever seeks for your face
will never be the same
Let your kingdom come
in Jesus' name

I'm an instrument, I am only a vessel
Help me open up to receive your love
Let us put to death thoughts of opposition
Let me step aside and point the world to above

JOY UNSPEAKABLE
by Barney Elliott Warren

I have found His grace is all complete,
He supplieth every need;
While I sit and learn at Jesus' feet,
I am free, yes, free indeed.

I have found the pleasure I once craved,
It is joy and peace within;
What a wondrous blessing, I am saved
From the awful gulf of sin.

I have found that hope so bright and clear,
Living in the realm of grace;
Oh, the Savior's presence is so near,
I can see His smiling face.

I have found the joy no tongue can tell,
How its waves of glory roll;
It is like a great o'erflowing well,
Springing up within my soul.

CHORUS:
It is joy unspeakable and full of glory,
Full of glory, full of glory;
It is joy unspeakable and full of glory,
Oh, the half has never yet been told.

WITH ALL THAT I AM
by Benjamin R. Faust

I praise you Lord
I praise you Lord
With all of my heart
With all of my soul
With all of my strength
I praise you Lord

For there is nobody like you
in heaven or on earth
Who is worthy to receive
all my praise
And I praise you with all that I am
Yes I praise you with all that I am

I'll serve you Lord
I'll serve you Lord
With all of my heart
With all of my soul
With all of my strength
I'll serve you Lord

For there is nobody like you
in heaven or on earth
Who is worthy to receive
all my praise
And I'll serve you with all that I am
Yes I'll serve you with all that I am

I love you Lord and
I'll love you Lord
With all of my heart
With all of my soul
With all of my strength
I love you Lord

For there is nobody like you
in heaven or on earth
Who is worthy to receive
all my praise
And I love you with all that I am
Yes I love you with all that I am

Father God, thank You for this time we have in Your presence. Thank You for giving us eternal life. Thank You for molding us into what You would like us to be. If we but allow You to shape us, we can be more and more like You. Thank You for showing us how to be more like You. I pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Please be seated.

Today, I stand here to share a fireside chat. Some of you might not know what a fireside chat is. I will explain. It is an informal message, a chat if you will, that I share with you. Since it is informal, that means I can and sometimes do say crazy things. It is how it is. So, get ready.

Today's fireside chat is called The Mold. I called it after a skit I did as a teen. So, let me tell you the story about it.

I was about 17 and my youth group went to Baltimore to stay at The Reservoir Hill House of Peace for about a week or so as a mission trip. It was a very fun time and we all learned a lot.

I signed up to be a part of the drama "club." One of the skits we did was called "The Mold." It has stayed with me since. I mean this was over 20 years ago!

The Mold skit works this way. One guy is Jesus. He stands facing the crowd with his arms out like he is hanging on the cross and his head is down. The others are different characters. Each has there own thing. There is a dancer, a bodybuilder, a drinker and smoker, a glamour girl, etc. Each character changes Jesus into who they are. But as they walk away from Jesus, he turns back to himself...hanging on the cross.

Then, the last person walks up. It's a person with a book. Looking at the book. Looking at Jesus. They realize who he is and kneel before him. Jesus pulls the person to their feet and turns them around. He moves their arms out like his and they are now like Jesus.

If you didn't get it, here is the explanation. People try to change Jesus into who they are instead of changing into who HE is. Jesus will allow us to try to change Him to what we are, but in the end, He will only want to change us into who He is. He does not want us to change Him. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

In that skit, as I played my parts, I can still remember my reactions. How my emotions spoke and how the others who saw it reacted. We all saw it. We saw how we try to change Jesus instead of allowing Him to change us.

Let's try to allow Jesus to change us into being more like Him so that we can love more like Him.

I remember kneeling before the guy who was Jesus. I remember my mind racing and thinking about how many times have I tried to change Jesus! But then, his hands touched my arms. They were gentle and they reached down to help me up. At that moment, I knew. I knew what Jesus was trying to say to me.

It is all about Him. I am to be like Him. I am to strive to live my life holy and pleasing to Him.

I don't remember if I cried, but thinking about it now I am. What a profound moment.

I have never been the same.

I want you all to sit quietly. I'm going to say some things. If you want you can close your eyes.

God wants to mold us into something. He wants us to be more like Him. He yearns for us to be open to him. To allow Him to touch us so gently that we can't feel it. He wishes to breathe life into us. All we have to do is let Him.

He wants us to know how much He loves us. He wants us to know how much we mean to Him. We are precious. We are loved. We are cared for. We are His.
Allow Him to mold you into whatever He wants. He will guide you and direct your path. He will shower you with His love. May His light shine through you.

Today's altar call is this. Wherever you are or want to be, pray. Talk to God and allow yourself to communicate and commune with God. Give of yourself freely. Do not hold back.

In the time, if anyone needs prayer or ministry, please contact one of the staff on the ministry team. If you are outside, Second Life, go to almcyberchurch.org and click the pastors' offices there. Leave us a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

After this time of prayer and ministry, we will have our fellowship time up the stairs to your left. All are welcome to attend.

Whenever you need to do so, you are all free to leave.

May God bless you this week.
May He mold you more and more into His image.
